The Outer Banks Real Estate Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Paul Peron as a member to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund Board of Directors. Jean-Paul Peron is Broker-in-Charge of the Company’s Carova office. He and Morgan Mason co-own The Outer Banks Real Estate Company. Peron will initially serve a 2-year term as a Corolla Wild Horse Fund board member.
The mission of The Corolla Wild Horse Fund is to protect, conserve and responsibly manage the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks, and to promote the continued preservation of this land as a permanent sanctuary for horses designated as the NC State Horse and defined as a cultural treasure by the state of North Carolina. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the medical, business, academic and volunteer communities of the Outer Banks. It is the Board’s responsibility to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the Fund and to raise awareness of the Fund’s protection of the horses and positive economic impact to the surrounding communities in fulfillment of its mission.
Jean-Paul Peron lives and works in the 4-wheel drive area of Carova on the Currituck Outer Banks NC. He actively serves in the Carova Volunteer Fire Department, serving the Carova community as a firefighter since 2009 and is a former board officer serving as secretary.
Peron publishes the High Tide/Low Tides times, daily, on several social media sites. Residents rely on J-P’s daily post in planning their commute on and off “the sand”. Visitors value his Tide Charts in planning their visit and the best time to cast a fishing line. Peron supplies quarterly pocket sized Tide Charts to the Outer Banks Visitors’ Bureau locations in Manteo, Kitty Hawk and Currituck Mainland.
The Outer Banks Real Estate Company is committed to supporting local businesses and non-profit organizations. Peron has been a faithful contributor to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund by donating to the Fund, in honor of his clients, when he sells a Carova property. The donation is a WIN-WIN-WIN for the Fund, client and the Company! Peron’s skills, experience and leadership will enhance the Corolla Wild Horse Fund Board of Director’s diversity of perspectives needed to support the Fund’s continued achievements.
